In the heat of this debate no-one appears to have concerned themselves that flybe's investment in the East Belfast area extends well beyond flights at BHD. Most of their fleet is acquired from Shorts, so their actual investment in jobs in the area over a long number of years is vast. Whereas Ryanair's investment has extended to putting up a few crew in a caravan in the airport car park for a while! What viewpoint do you think should be given more credence then??
