As others have said, beating Rex (or any other employer) in exiting from your
legally (or perhaps just ehically)
binding contract is neither "clever" nor ethical.
Rex remained unique amongst the established players over the last 5 years, during which "pay to play" became industry standard. They did not follow Impulse, Jetstar or Virgin to
that very low ebb.
