Well, what you really need is an ICAO PPL, so the FAA one is JAR compliant. If a school does not volunteer the information that you will not get a JAR PPL, then this may be because you don't need it. Ever.

Remember that upon gaining a JAR CPL, you will loose the JAR PPL, however the FAA one is yours for life. Also, you save on a night qualification, RT licence (depending on the country you get your CPL from eventually), etc, etc.

Do read more on here and in the JARs and you will see that doing an FAA PPL has a lot of advantages and no disadvantages (for most).

I do not know this particular school, but if their prices are the same as other FAA outfits, it may well be worth going there...
