All of this was predicted here a few weeks ago.
They need to do what London has done when people stop on the yellow hatched areas at junctions and photograph them and fine them by post.
These people just can’t see a problem with stopping on a roundabout and going to their boots to load and unload luggage. The trouble is that once one car has stopped to do this, like sheep all the cars behind do the same, so once the first car has moved on the traffic doesn’t move until the last car has finished.
Then there is the old chestnut of car drivers parking up in the drop off area indefinitely until their passengers turn up. At the moment I haven’t seen a problem due to low traffic flows when I have been up there but it will happen if the airport doesn’t employ some traffic wardens.
