It should be a 'State of the Nation' forum not under an LEA banner

I fully support what Phil has said. Those who whinge don't know him

He has busted his guts out for so many years, been through many recessions and given solid training and jobs to many pilots, engineers, suppliers and operations staff. He made money in the good times and re-invested it in the company, others didn't.

If he is now trimming his operation to meet the potential, not actual, demand then he will once again be there when the recession is over after I anticipate at least 2 years of re-alignment.

I admire the pilot that paid for the fuel to get home, a big +++ on any cv (but money in the bank would be better).

If Phil and others don't take action now they won't be there. It is tough for all of us, it is a cyclic business with no sure outcome, the whingers knew that when they chose aviation over other career paths.
