The answer is no to both your suggestions.

They will look to see how airfreight can be added to their road haulage business, but in the area of urgent, high value shipments and not bulk freight. They hope to build a large distribution depot on the site of the new Thames Gateway Port complex, which is due to open in 2010. There would be no point in building such a facility at SEN.

Their main effort will be aimed at attracting scheduled and charter passenger airlines, initially once the rail station is open next Autumn but more so when/if the runway extension is completed in 2011.
