I did my stage 2 with windneckin. I'm through and I answered NONE of the maths questions. Yes, NONE. Essentially, they were a distraction to the main issue - moving the "planes".
Also, my 2p? Better to answer what you know are correct and go back to the others after, IF you have time. Why waste time on a guess when you could have 2 more right?
