The job market has slowed down dramatically over the last few months. None of the airlines are hiring, although I belive Westjet is supposed to add more airplanes to its fleet. This has led to little or no movement in the rest of the industry although the odd turboprop and corporate job seem to keep popping up. As for Alberta, everyone is waiting to see where the oilprices are headed, because if the stay below $55 for long it might force many of the oil sands developers to rethink their immediate plans. That would impact aviation out there.
