IMHO, I think buying a plane isn't much more than a bottomless pit unless it gets used v. often. If you can't put in the hours, there's plenty of have nots who'd be happy to hire your plane, for sight seeing, training or otherwise! I personally wouldn't buy a plane and have it all for myself, I'd hire it out when I know i can't get out to it. If you only get out to it once-twice a week/month, why have it gathering dust in a hangar all the other times?
