Well, I don't know why the security staff always get it in the neck, on here. I fly through the airport once a month and have always had a good experience. Yes you have to remove your shoes, big deal! It's busy, but things are generally flowing, I've never waited longer than 10 minutes and I'm going through at peak hours (7 till 8 a.m.).
It will be great when the new terminal is built, having said that, I would still rather fly from BOH than one of the London airports.
