And the "non-contributory" pension is taken into account also by the AFPRB, so one effectively
does contribute as the calculated figure is reduced accordingly .....
.... having read that, it's less than clear. Try again teeters. AFPRB decide upon £x, then reduce it to £x-y 'cos we don't pay for the pension. Ergo, we effectively contribute £y.
