For anyone whom is around and is interested Cork County Council in whose area Cork Airport is situated has an open day tomorrow afternoon between 4 pm and 8 pm at the new Cork Airport International Hotel where county council planners will be presenting proposals on a Cork Airport development plan for the next ten to twenty years. There is talk that renewed attempts are reportedly being made to have airport land rezoned for business parks the outcome of which would seem to suggest that Cork's runway 25/07 would be killed off. There are more details on the Cork County Council website.

Just say No to any attempt at asset stripping Cork Airport - remember if anything is sold you cant get it back later and you can bet our dear friends from the mid west will be out hovering with the Beal Bocht looking for a share of any Cork spoils.
