Yes, looks like Ryanair are set to claim victory on Cork - Dublin. Not only will RE be down to just the two Dublin flights a day but with Prestwick also being pulled from January the CAA will soon be down even more revenue for landing fees and charges.

This winter is turning into a nightmare for Cork.

On a.net there is a thread suggesting that DL are to drop ATL-snn for next summer but that there may be a chance that it may be replaced with BOS-snn and there is a suggestion than even an ETOPS equipped 737-800 could be able to do the flight.

If there is any substance at all to the above story it just beats me so much why the CAA are not kicking and screaming trying to get some of this action because the way things are going for poor ol' Cork they are going to have to try and get some new business from somewhere - if they dont the place is screwed and plenty more CAA jobs will sooner rather than later go!
