The point being that the infringement of impersonating an officer extends even to junior, non-commisisoned ones.
I had mistakenly inferred that the complainant had been very specific that the chap was impersonating a
commissioned officer. This came about from my habit of reading anything in the Daily Mail at speed to make the experience as short and painless as possible...
