This is interesting, but - depending on your objectives, who and how many you ask - surveys and stats will always produce whatever answer you want!!

What I find most amazing about this BFS / BHD debate is city's insistence that their need to grow is critical to the future economy of the country.

The facts are things are poor economically, and it must be a real struggle for all airports, BHD included, to retain many of their existing services at the mo.

Yet new owners have just arrived (a private equity company) and spent a king's ransom to buy city airport with a big panic on to extend.....Surely they'll want to re-dress the place again and get out quick-smart by their very nature???

There's something that just doesn't stack up to me....
