If Airbus and/or the Authorities didn't ground A300/A310s after the loss of the tail, or the A320s after several crashes, then they will not be grounding A330s over this incident.
Well, given that the incidents you refer to were primarily caused by
pilot error, it's hardly surprising. By the same logic, the 727 should have been grounded while pilots were crashing the things with worrying regularity while the became accustomed to the handling in tis early operational years.
