Ryanair do not accept visa debit, however, visa electron, (a debit card too) is accepted. It seems most banks dont offer such a card, but I have taken one with Halifax to use for Ryanair bookings.
When the
pr people at FR are approached on the subject of credit card charges they can say well if you have electron you can avoid the charges. I think if the volume were significant then FR would implement a charge too!!!
