For those not familiar with 'The New York Post', (the news(!)paper that featured the 'new dawn' article, it's a Rupert tabloid rag, a cross between Fox television news and 'The Sun', (but with a considerably lower standard of page 3 girl).
I too can highly recommend 'Fiasco'. Slow motion train wreck is a very good description of the events of those first few years of GW2. I can remember saying at the time: "It's like Vietnam all over again: I bet the poor bastards incountry with mud on their boots are telling the idiots running this disaster what needs to be done, and just like Vietnam, they're being ignored by people who've never worn a uniform."
