Please note I have never said I am 'opposed to G/S considerations', merely that I would be tempted to have an F/O placed under restraint in a 737, or use the Rainboe rolled-up newspaper technique if he/she flew that way in contradiction to company procedures, and I would personally deliver him/her to SATCO for a whipping if he/she neglected to fly ATC requested speeds.

I happen to think it is an extremely valid way to approach approaching and a spiffing idea, OK? Jolly good wheeze for an Airbus, Ginger.
