As of today still no confirmation of Chevron's commitment to CHC Thailand after year's end. Things are getting a little somber not only at the base level but at H/O in YVR. Could about 100 pilots, engineers and support staff be looking for new jobs come the new year? Maybe after 17 years with CHC Chevron thinks its time for a blood transfusion? Only time will tell and times getting short. Maybe Bristow, Cougar, maybe someone we don't know will come up with a proposal that rocks Chevron and the changes are made.
Time to update the resume? Still no new delivery of new a/c to Thailand, no new hangar facilities, it will be interesting in the next few months. Not a betting person but my monies on big changes.
