In a lengthy e-mail to Paul Weddick who was in Redhill at the time I was leaving for the final time.....I discussed at length the dangerous path Bristow was heading down due to the rank racial discrimination being displayed by some of the management in Lagos. Those concerns were among a laundry list of issues I felt were compelling in their need for resolution.
In that e-mail I strongly endorsed Oni and several others as being quite capable of leading the company and who should be candidates for senior management. One of these days I might publish the contents of that e-mail but have refrained from doing so for a number of reasons.
It makes one wonder if he ever passed on my concerns to those at the helm in either Redhill/Lafayette or Lagos?
I also made those thoughts known to very senior people at Air Log.
It seems the company was a much happier place when it was run by former RN and RAF folks.....the British Army must be one very miserable place from what I have seen at BHL.
