I'm sure that Twotter co-pilot time was not the only time they had! I'm sure there would have been a fair whack of BN2 time, preceeded by 206 time. My argument is that although they may have been hired, maybe not because they had DHC6 time.
You're not listening. What I am saying is that DHC6 time is not multi-crew time. It is two crew time, however, as the aircraft is certified with one or two crew members.
If the Twotter co-pilot time is built after a solid base of three or four years of command flying with singles and twins and having got the magic 500multi command, then that is good experience. However, jumping straight into the right hand seat does nothing for command skills or learning how you react under pressure when you have to make the decision!!!!
