Irish Flyer,
If you apply to CTC and get offered a place on the AQC course, you will most likely get a jet job thru them (if you do not f?ck up your type conversion) within a year.
If you apply and do not get in to the AQC course, it will have cost you nothing. It will have given you FREE group tests and interview practice!!
If you get an instructor's rating, will it almost guarantee you a jet job inside a year? I have to say I doubt it very much at the minute.
FYI, I have just landed back into Manchester on a wet runway, with a nice crosswind. But the sun was beautiful at nightfall, and the 757 (which CTC helped me to get into) is a good girl.
It is all about personal opinion, but I think in my case CTC is a rather large winner over trawling around in a 152.
I do not mean to sound arrogant, but it is a straight choice. Give it a go. What is the worst that could happen?? A 737 with easyjet

Only kidding orange folk!!
Isn't there an expression? "Luck of the Irish......"
