Have noted your FLL Address before and seeing your interest in diving and associated FL activities I would probably guess that you know a few of the original Carnival guys?
I live in the North but have spent a lot of time there.
There aren't many of us left as most did not want to work in NH as was required for awhile but now the senior guys are able to exist in the Sanford, FL, area.
To answer your question we do have a Scope Clause but Dave Fink kept it as weak as possible. (One paragraph) Our very astute ALPA Lawyer Contract Administrator (former NWA 727 Captain) thought it better to secure the contract than lose momentum over things that Fink appeared intractable on.
However, even if we had Delta Scope Clause (as I remember, about three pages) it would not make any difference to the PAA owners; I think you got the gist from reading the other thread on 'Airlines, Airports and Routes'. They have their own ideas on the Railway Labor Act and employee relations....
