Regardless of how often it does or doesn't happen, it's a disgusting crime and there with the lowest... stealing from starving and dying children, really!!
I just about had a nervous breakdown when I once discovered a Unicef envelope in my apron, I had put it there when a passenger handed it to me, had a week off and forgot about it. I felt so bad I matched the amount written on the outside as my own way of making up for being so late putting it in at the crew centre... how anyone could not feel bad about actually STEALING this money.... boggles the mind...
I do wonder how she slept at night, and as they said, it's not like she was stealing it for medical bills or to feed herself the basic life necessities... (not that it would be an excuse either but you know what I mean!)
