I hadn't really taken too much notice of this until I flew to Linate today and the Unicef announcement came on. Whereas before, I wouldn't think twice about putting some change in, one can't help thinking about the case as you open the envelope.
There appear to be two losers here, the kids and honest cabin crew who must feel very uncomfortable about the whole thing.
Anyway, I have to believe that the money I've given over the last 15 or so years has gone exactly where it's supposed to and on that basis, I'm still giving.
