Yes, the best way is to go knock on the door and deliver in person.
If you are not applying for an airline job, your Airbus time may be causing you difficulty. Most Charter or Corporate operators are going to look at your resume and think that you will be off to the nearest airline right about the same time that they finish training you. On the other side of that coin, I hope you are applying to all the available airlines... that's where your Airbus time will help you out.
