JAA Class one revalidation - need help
I hold a JAA class 1 issued in Italy which expired in October. I tried to call the aeromedical center at GTW to have the revalidation done in the UK but they said that first I have to convert my medical certificate but it can be done only if it's current. So no way to have it done in the UK at the moment.
Is it the same for other european countries? Can someone pease tell me if I can book a revalidation with an expired certificate i.e. in Swiss or Germany, doesn't matter, as long as it is jaa-jar fcl 3 full compliant.
Italy issues JAR FCL 3 certifcates but on the basis of other, more strict, requirements (especially regarding vision).
