The content of the warning and type of voice suggests that the installed equipment is not EGPWS; probably another variant of TAWS (Airbus have an option?).
If this is a ‘valid’ alert, then the aircraft was too low; this is not apparent from the visual scene. Thus, the warning could identify a weakness in the system which should be reported and rectified. Unwarranted alerts challenge crews’ belief in their systems, which could lead to errors as indicated in the “TAWS Saves” paper above.
The commentary suggests that the database was inaccurate, thus another reminder for operators to check for the latest software updates, but not forgetting to report the incident so that other operators and the manufacturers (aircraft and TAWS) are informed a.s.a.p.
