I've flown 727-214s, -222s, -223s, -224s, -232s, -234s, -243s, -251s, -259s, -287s and 2JOs, all converted to freighters (by three different STCs) and as I recall, all had the extenal right window release. I think they came from Boeing that way before the cargo conversion.
