The 707 was a great machine to fly.
Actually, different versions, flew slightly differently.
The best (for stability) were the last 707-320B/C... Straight pipe -320 were ok.
I did not like the 707-120B as much. Not as stable.
The 720B was a rocketship. Outstanding performance, but handled same as -120B...
Only one plane I do prefer to the 707, it is the 747...
Any pilot who has flown a 707 loves the 747, many similarities. But better...
