Mostlytossas,
I think you may have missed the point on speculation. The reason we DON'T speculate as to the cause of a crash is a safety reason. It is real real easy to form the wrong conclusion when basing ones belief of what happened on what is reported in the media. It is invariably WRONG!!!!! The reason we WAIT and don't speculate is so the authorities can get to the REAL reason for the crash and then put it out to all and sundry so we can then make informed educated deicsions on how to operate more safely. Restricting your own operations or changing procedures based on speculation does nothing for safety at all, in fact it could be argued that it decreases safety.
The examples you gave are irrelevant and do not back up your premis and have nothing to do with post crash investigations.
And as others have stated, the media will grab any soundbite they can and your and others speculation gives them everything they want and does NOTHING for the crash investigation, safety or those left behind.
Cheers
Mr B.
