We found out yesterday that fuel is not available at Leigh Creek due to a problems with the Jet and AVGAS tanks. I apologise if this may have already been reported on pprune.....apparently Brisbane wouldn't put it in as a NOTAM
I would hate to hear of pilots rocking up with min fuel on board
Rose the refueller...know to many of us...doesn't know when or if they will be back online. She said 'I'm looking forward to a few days off' ...good ol Rose. BP will make the decision if the pumps will be made into swipe card pumps or if Rose will still be required
She is a one of those wonderful characters of aviation....a lot of refuellers out in the bush are.
