Bishop was not talking about his future last week, but those close to the 66-year-old say he has no plans to retire.
He owns the Hall, so what will he do? My money would be to merge the non LHR bits of Regional with baby, a total fleet of 40 aircraft, a head office at EMA, keep (the posh bit) of the hall and develope the rest into a conference hotel (the idea of BE & F1 is an idea)
The name baby will stay, its a strong brand in LoCo in the Midlands and he will pick it up off of Luffty for free in return for various other deals with Luffty over Luffty tech.
Expect a move to full low cost for regional (Dash) & 737-700 for baby with Luffty's blessing to blunt Flybe who off course are 15% owned by BA, Luffty may even retain a share holding in what remains
