Why such the big interest in this press release?
This information (The purchase of bmi) was announced last month. Nobody blinked an eyelid!
The facts are Lufthansa are purchasing the bmi group. Discussions between Lufthansa are continuing with SMB as to the way forward. SMB may still play a big part and the status quo may remain.
Lets keep to the facts. bmi is a brilliant dynamic company and has a lot to offer to the Lufthansa group. I can assure you all three subsidiaries are an integral part of Lufthansa's future plans.
