Thats good to hear. I was wondering what was happening with that application - things had gone a little quiet. I bet the Nutfield Link will be delighted that the prospects of that nasty hard runway with all the biz-jets isn't happening for now.
Deeday - I share your pain with the waterlogging season, its an occupational hazard at Redhill. There is always the option of using taxiway C/D (unlicensed, around 500m if I recall correctly) but I don't know at what point schools are prepared to use that for PPL training purposes.
The runways do drain fairly quickly, but looking out of the window this afternoon I suspect the bog status will be with us for a while...
