If my memory serves me correctly wasnt it NB that had the problem way back when the runway was being resurfaced to meet CAT111 requirements(i think).
One engine used to cut out on take off roll when it hit the edge of the overnight works .
Was out of action for a while when they had to get Boeing engineers over to check it out, as Monarch guys had relaced the engine and it made no difference!
God that seems like an eternity--25 years wow
Anybody remember the incident?
