That certainly is how it used to be, but things are a changing. they used to require hours on the space shuttle for the pilots, but they are now realizing that their requirements are getting harder and harder to meet and adjustments are being made for it. BHP are by far the hardest to comply with when it comes to requirements, but they are getting better. some of the work I have done for them could only be done in a single, and they kicked and fought the whole way, but relented in the end due to necessity.
If you can get through a Harts audit relatively well, you stand a far better chance of being on the service suppliers list.
