Labour Weekend Weather...
Not much fun for the pilot (thankfully not me) trying to fly the NDB hold at NZTG... in a PA28-181 at full power and still losing 300'/minute at one end of the hold, and at idle power and gaining around 500'/minute at the other!! Made maintaining 6000' "a bit difficult". Ended up with a 1000' block altitude
The gliders around NZTG at 12,000 seemed to enjoy it tho
