Slingair's new contract

Just heard from a friend that Slingair's got the Argyle contract. A year ago Air North was running two Bandeirante's twice a day for the 53 nm one way journey. Vincent had a bit of a go at it and I don't remember who else.

Apparently they've got three months to come up with a 19-seater. This must be what they had in mind when they advertised for a pilot worth $80,000 pa. Pretty crafty (in a good way) making it look like a C310/PA31 gig.

Anybody have thoughts on what they'll use? Beech 1900 perhaps?

Good luck to them,
