You can't get more lightweight than the comment I gave
But I expand: IE6 is IMHO 'quite' good (but not as good a FF2/3) and IE7 is a disaster - slow, cumbersome, inflexible, too zealous (tells me off every time I try to access our ever-so suspicious Intranet!) and it has that issue that you can't uninstall it after you apply SP3 (unless you reverse that back) etc... So, as they say on Dragons, for that reason, in relation to IE8,
I'm out.
FF2/FF3 works well and never give me any grief (but their profile management is a bit weak).
BTW, the front of PC Advisor mag states that Google Chrome is the best browser out there at the moment
