Yes, I was wondering if anyone else would spot the carefully contrived but utterly naive nature of the article.
I've spent some time looking for this mythical 25-an-hour sector reserved for part-timers......my fulltimer sector always seem to shift over 40....unless we're busy.....then it's more.
It must be good not to have to worry about how much one earns in a two controller partnership on holiday in where-ever-it-was. I know exactly how much I earn to support my family.
Funny how certain articles to the press circumvent the rules that prevent the rest of us from enjoying the same freedom. Equally strange that the featured controller is in no way representative of the average controller either inside or outside NATS; or the average controller salary and conditions throughout the UK.
I really really really hope that the union did not endorse this!!!!!!!!!To put this article into perspective, it is like "Alice in Wonderland" versus the Yorkshire miners.
