Caslance. .sorry about that, It must be that stupid Canadian education and system we use on this side of the pond (North America). But when I get e-mail from a friend informing me that he will be arriving on such-n-such a flight at such-n-such a destination (Orlando) I usually take them at thier word. Just as he took the word of his travel agent. If you book a flight from Toronto to any place in the world, I bet dollars to donuts you will arrive, baring unforseen circumstances, at the named destination. Example; on Wednesday 27, April 2002, I will be flying from Toronto to Los Angeles, USA then on to Auckland, New Zealand. I'm very sure that I will arrive at LAX and not Ontario, CA. Likewise I expect to arrive in Auckland and not Tauranga or Hamilton.. .. .But again, why does it seem to me that everytime thier is a reference to Manchester you (in particular) feel the need to "slag off" Liverpool, even if there is no slight intended or implied against Manchester? I am sure my freind would have booked his flight from the closest airport to his home, and seeing as he lives in Huddersfield, that airport happened to be the one in Manchester. And yes, I still think calling Sanford, Orlando is, at the very least, misleading advertising if not downright lying by the travel wholesaler. If Sanford Airport was located to the east of Orlando instead of North of that city, it could be named Cape Canaveral International. Manchester and Liverpool are closer to each other than is Midway (Sanfords location) and Orlando. . .. .As to me referencing Manchester as any other place whatsoever, I can assure you that I would never burden any city with that, well deserved, Manchester label. And I mean the city of Manchester and not it's somewhat, by British standards, adequate airport. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="tongue.gif" />
