Oh, is there an airport in Liverpool, then? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" /> . .. .But seriously, folks, with all the best will in the world it's only in very recent years that there have been any services from Liverpool to travel down the M56 for.. .. .I remember the dark and dreadful days when the Royal Mail flights kept Liverpool Airport going and there were almost no passenger services at all. It's nice to see the place actually being used! . .. .I'm all for expansion of services from regional airports - all of them - and I find the "us versus them" attitude that often prevails in discussions of this type very irritating.. .. .It's not a football match, it's a business and there is clearly room in the market for services from Liverpool and from Manchester. Liverpool has found it's niche after years of neglect and that's got to be good news for regional airports all over the country (and beyond).
