I spent two days on Ben More retrieving the remains of HI - I was astounded at the complete destruction of the aircraft.We collected what was left in garbage bags loaded into cargo nets then helicoptered by a military Puma down to the road. only about 3 pieces were large enough to require a seperate lift.I was a colleague of the two engineers on board and have never forgotten the incident.It brought home to me the high cost of errors in our business - I am an LAE and it made a deep impression on me as it was the first fatal accident I was involved with.
