Thats what I though, thanks for the confirmation.

Another question has now popped up in the office which is an extension of my last question, and that deals with "Swampers". I know that for 704 and 705 the answer is no; but for 702 or 703 operations, could the swamper log the time in their book AND be credited with the time towards the issuance of a licence or rating (assuming the aircraft in question does not require a type rating for both Captain and FO).

I again have said no, but the argument in the office (which is being researched through the CARs) is that you could log the time as "Dual" rather than Co-Pilot - in essence the same thing that would happen during initial training on type.
