Another Loop Hole?

If you own the said turbine and are flying it for pleasure then you must pay the extra.

But what about if you are Self Fly Hiring from a 'business' at a wet rate - presumably they are purchasing the fuel for commercial reasons (even if you're plonking it on your credit card to get it back from them late) i.e. when you go somewhere and uplift fuel its for that business not yourself?

Its ridiculous - they stopped charging duty on vegetable oil used in cars because it was too expensive to collect the duty and they reckon its cost effective to do it for aircraft? Hmm - I see a court case looming.
