Actually I can't recall ever having the back end sim move - so if it did, then it was remarkably lacking in impact! I guess nobody ever bothered when I was in - the closest I remember to any sort of physical effect was when the sim staff wanted to simulate some sort orf damage.... there'd be a bang, which I always assumed was just the guy closest giving the outside a whack with the flat of their hand -

- maybe that was the awe inspiring movement others are on about!

(FMS - mission, yes, I was making the point that it moved though...as in FMS was a full motion sim - or as full as it needed to be for a Nimrod anyhoo - hence not capitalised ie "FMS -Full Mission Simulator", sorry if my shortcut was a bit too short for clarity! As for the MCT, manky cluttered tube....)
