Xaxisian: You will have to check the details of it with your embassy but as I understand it a US employer cannot sponser you for any kind of work visa unless it is a position that there is a shortage of US citizens to perform. So that pretty much rules out any kind of pilot.

I also belive there is a clause in the Issue of a J-1 visa that states that when the visa expires you must return to your home country and are not eligible for any other US visa or residency application for 12 months, so that may be an issue for you.
