Folks when I first took out my policy I was on JAR25 medium Turboprop doing scheduled airline work only and the premium was £52 for £250,000 over 20 years index linked and included Critical Illness cover for free.... Recent statement now made the cover £265,000 and as I had quit smoking for over a year dropped the premium to £32. Now needless to say age, medical history, etc has a huge bearing but my broker felt that this was a good policy that suited my lifestyle/career.
